Tafadzwa Chigumira was born in Harare Zimbabwe. After completing his primary education at Prospect Primary School and his secondary education at Kutama College (O Level) and Prince Edward High School (A Level), he obtained his LLB in English Law at Near East University. He has been teaching law subjects since he started working as a research assistant at Near East University in 2017. He completed his LLM in International Law after successfully defending his thesis titled “Aviation Deregulation, Airline Alliances and the Competition Law Implications” supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Resat Volkan Gunel. He is currently a PhD Candidate specializing in Air and Space Law Research. Tafadzwa has also been involved in the internationally acclaimed Phillip Jessup International Moot Court as a participant and as a judge grading participant memorials.
